What is the game about?

BiotechGuess is an interactive and stimulating puzzle game, inspired by the mechanics of logical deduction games like Doctordle (which is, however, strictly focused on clinical medicine). Unlike the latter, BiotechGuess significantly broadens its horizons by embracing the entire and vast world of biological sciences. But what exactly does it consist of? The player is faced with a mysterious term that they must guess using a series of progressive textual clues. These terms span across countless fundamental scientific disciplines: from cytology to histology, moving through embryology, genetics, botany, biochemistry, all the way to cell biology, molecular biology, and anatomy.

To make the experience suitable for different levels of preparation, the game offers two main modes. The Easy mode is designed to test basic knowledge, making it an excellent challenge for a scientific high school student who wants to review, test themselves on core subjects, or strengthen their foundations. The Hard mode, on the other hand, significantly raises the bar: it is strictly structured at a university level and requires much more specific and technical scientific skills, rewarding accuracy and analytical deduction.

The ultimate goal is not only to guess the individual term but to build the longest streak of consecutive winning games and accumulate the highest possible number of stars. And it doesn't end here: the real fun lies in sharing your results and challenging your friends or classmates to find out who truly has the best mastery of the biotechnological vocabulary!
